NBA Week 8
What up everyone! My NBA heater run has hit a road block. I was due for some regression and it came this week. I was on a 33-10-1 run before missing on my last 4 picks and going 2-5 this week. I am still 48-31-1 61% on the year with 16.52% ROI and making money almost every week. I have two bets today that I am quite confident in so read below. Reminder to follow my picks during the week on Action Network app if you want to catch my plays in real time before the lines move. https://myaction.app/SharpSmithSports

My Picks
Dallas +5 - I liked the way Dallas played against Brooklyn last night. Porzingis actually looked good and they controlled most of that game. They struggled down the stretch shooting the ball but got good looks. Mavs 4th Q shooting actual vs expected KD, did what KD does and closed that game out for Brooklyn. I like Dallas in a bounce back spot against Memphis who has been on a roll without Ja. I make these basically even teams and Mav’s getting 5 even on a back-to-back is value to me. I also can’t help but think missing your star player eventually catches up to you.
Cavs -2.5 - Cav’s have been playing good ball and continue to be undervalued by the market. They’re the best team in the league ATS at 18-5-2. They are back healthy now and starting to take advantage of this sneaky deep roster. Chicago has Derozan and Caruso out which I think is a huge factor. Derozan has arguably been the Bulls best player all year and definitely their most clutch scorer. They will miss him in what should be a close game. Caruso is the leader of this defense that is much better than expected and they will miss his perimeter defense against Garland and Rubio. I also like the size mismatch with the Cavs here. Cav’s are a very big and versatile team. The Bulls are guard/wing heavy and lack size down the middle outside of Vuc. The Cavs versatile size should be able to make it tough on the Bulls scorers tonight. Cavs at home by 3 against Chicago missing 2 key starters I have to take it.
